  • How do I book an appointment?

    Each stylist at Juniper Byrd Hair Company books independently. Visit our Meet the Byrds page to find your stylist, view their services, hours, and booking link.

  • What if I dont know who to book with?

    We’ve got you! Shoot us a message or DM on Instagram, and we’ll match you with a stylist based on your hair goals, schedule, and vibe.

  • Do you accept walk-ins?

    We’re primarily by appointment, but feel free to pop in! If someone is available, we’ll do our best to accommodate you—or help you schedule a time that works.

  • What is your cancellation policy?

    We require at least 48 hours notice to cancel or reschedule. Cancellations within 48 hours may be subject to a 40% fee of the booked service. No-shows will be charged the full amount. (*Varies depending on stylist.)

  • What services do you offer?

    Our stylists offer a variety of services including haircuts, color, curly hair care, gray blending, lived-in blonding, special occasion styling, and more. Since we all work independently, check individual stylist pages for specialties and pricing.

  • Do you offer curly cuts and styling?

    Yes! Several of our stylists specialize in working with natural texture and curly cuts. Look for curl-specific services when booking or reach out to find your perfect fit.

  • Where are you located and where do I park?

    We’re located at 18 Cumberland St. Westbrook, Maine. Free street parking is available on Cumberland Street and Main Street, and parking is also available off Main Street. We'll include details in your appointment confirmation, or you can message us beforehand!

  • How should I arrive to my appointment?

    If it’s your first visit, bring photos of your hair inspiration and any questions you have! For color appointments, arrive with clean, dry hair unless your stylist tells you otherwise.

  • What payment methods do you accept?

    Each stylist accepts different payment methods (cash, card, Venmo, etc.). Check with your stylist directly or their booking site to confirm before your appointment.

  • Do you sell hair products?

    Yes! We carry evo. Please visit our products page. Our stylists can recommend the best products for your hair needs.

  • Late Arrivals

    We totally understand that life happens. If you're running late, please call or text your stylist. Arrivals more than 15 minutes late may need to be rescheduled and could be subject to a late cancellation fee. This helps us respect everyone's time and keep our day flowing.

  • Deposits

    Some services or stylists may require a deposit to reserve your time, especially for longer or specialty appointments (like major color transformations or bridal trials). Deposits are non-refundable and go toward your final service total. Check your stylist’s booking page for details.

  • Guests and Children

    Our cozy space was designed with relaxation and focus in mind. For safety and comfort, we kindly ask that only the person receiving the service attends the appointment. Please arrange childcare in advance unless your stylist has made an exception. If you're unsure, just ask—we're happy to help!
